Best Battery Powered Snow Blower Light
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
A battery powered snow blower light is most useful when the snow is cleared before dawn or after dark, and the listing has to say what the light is and what powers it. Six cordless snow blowers and snow throwers with a built-in LED light were found and compared below. Four list both a light and one or more battery packs, one says its battery is not included, and one is tool only. The table shows only what each listing states.
Quick answer
- Light and battery both named: the SENIX 40V (10000mAh batteries and dual LED lights), the Snow Joe 48V kit (two 4Ah batteries, a charger and an LED headlight) and the Litheli 40V kit (two 20V 4.0Ah batteries and LED lights). The ZaiZeWan sells kits of 2, 4 or 6 batteries.
- Widest stated clearing width: the SENIX at 21 inches, then the Litheli and the ZaiZeWan at 20 inches each. The Snow Joe is 18 inches.
- Throw: the SENIX states 33 feet. The Litheli states 20 feet, the Snow Joe 20 feet, the ZaiZeWan 25 feet and the TAIRDA 23 feet.
- No battery or charger in the box: the Greenworks 80V shovel says its battery and charger are not included, and the TAIRDA is tool only and names no battery of its own.
Table 1 sets out what each listing states. A cell that says “not stated” means the text we read is silent on that point.

Products below are ordered by the clearing width each listing states, widest first. Ties follow the order of the table.
SENIX 40V 21-inch cordless snow blower (dual LED lights)
B0HKW7YYQL is a 21-inch cordless snow blower with a steel auger, a brushless motor and an LED light bar. The title says the listing includes 10000mAh batteries and dual LED lights. The listing says the light bar lets you clear early mornings or evenings, and it gives a clearing rate of 680 pounds of snow per minute and a throw of 33 feet. It weighs 30 pounds with a foldable handle.
- Clearing width: 21 inches (title).
- Clearing depth: 8 to 12 inches (listing).
- Throw: 33 feet (listing).
- Clearing rate: 680 pounds per minute (listing).
- Light: dual LED lights and an LED light bar (title and listing).
- Batteries: 10000mAh batteries included (title).
- Charger: not named in the text we read.
- Weight: 30 pounds (listing).
Skip if you need the charger in writing before you order, because the text we read does not name one. The batteries are named in the title only in mAh, with no pack voltage for each pack. For a shorter guide to cordless snow clearing with a battery, see our guide to cordless snow blower shovels.
Litheli 40V cordless snow blower with LED lights (two 20V batteries)
B0DLBCYVDR is a 40V brushless cordless snow thrower with wheels, a 180-degree adjustable chute and LED lights. The listing’s kit includes two 20V 4.0Ah batteries, and it says the batteries work across all Litheli U20 series tools. It clears a 20-inch by 12-inch path and throws snow up to 20 feet. The tool-only option is shown as currently unavailable on the page we read.
- Clearing width and depth: 20 inches and 12 inches (listing).
- Throw: 20 feet (listing).
- Chute: 180-degree adjustable (listing).
- Light: LED lights (title and listing).
- Batteries: two 20V 4.0Ah in the kit (listing).
- Charger: the product content does not list one.
- Pack energy: 160 watt-hours (our arithmetic: two packs of 20 volts times 4.0 amp-hours).
Skip if you want the tool-only option, because the page shows it as unavailable. The light is described as lighting dark mornings and evenings, but the listing gives no brightness figure.
ZaiZeWan 40V cordless snow blower with dual LED headlights (2, 4 or 6 batteries)
B0HMG7456K is a 40V cordless snow blower from ZaiZeWan with a 3500-watt brushless motor, dual LED headlights and 7-inch snow tires. Its listing says it clears up to 10 inches deep and 20 inches wide in one pass, and throws snow 25 feet. The kit comes in three sizes, with 2, 4 or 6 batteries and 1, 2 or 3 chargers, so the kit you choose sets the battery count.
- Clearing width and depth: 20 inches and 10 inches (listing).
- Throw: 25 feet, 180-degree adjustable chute (listing).
- Motor: 3500W brushless (listing).
- Light: dual LED headlights (listing).
- Tires: 7-inch snow tires (listing).
- Kits: 2, 4 or 6 batteries with 1, 2 or 3 chargers (listing).
- Battery amp-hours: not stated.
Skip if you want the battery size before you buy, because the listing names no amp-hour figure. The listing says the unit is suitable for commercial and residential use, which is a claim about use rather than a stated limit.
Snow Joe 48V cordless snow blower kit with LED headlight (two 4Ah batteries and charger)
B09SBV6FRY is a Snow Joe 48V cordless snow blower kit with a 1200-watt brushless motor, a 2-watt LED headlight and a 180-degree chute. The title names two 4Ah batteries and a charger. The listing describes an 18-inch clearing width and 10-inch depth, and a throw of up to 20 feet. The two 24V batteries are stated as 48V total.
- Clearing width and depth: 18 inches and 10 inches (listing).
- Throw: up to 20 feet (listing).
- Motor: 1200W brushless (listing).
- Light: 2W LED headlight (listing).
- Batteries: two 24V 4Ah lithium-ion, 48V total (listing and title).
- Charger: included (title).
- Pack energy: 192 watt-hours (our arithmetic: two packs of 24 volts times 4 amp-hours).
Skip if you want a clearing width wider than 18 inches, because this is the narrowest of the three kits with a full battery pack. The listing gives no weight, so check that before you buy if you plan to carry it up steps.
Greenworks 80V 12-inch brushless snow shovel with LED light (battery and charger not included)
B0D7D1KC7B is a 12-inch brushless snow shovel from Greenworks with directional vanes and an LED light. The title says the battery and charger are not included. The listing says the LED light illuminates early morning or evening clearing, and it weighs 15.9 pounds. It is designed for snow depths of up to 8 inches.
- Clearing width: 12 inches (listing).
- Snow depth: up to 8 inches (listing).
- Throw: 20 to 30 feet (listing summary).
- Light: LED light (title and listing).
- Weight: 15.9 pounds (listing).
- Battery and charger: not included (title).
Skip if you have no 80V battery already, because the listing does not include one. The listing’s troubleshooting note says to remove the battery and let it warm indoors if the unit does not start, which suggests a cold start can fail.
TAIRDA 12-inch cordless snow shovel for Milwaukee 18V (tool only, LED light)
B0HCPT9L4H is a tool-only 12-inch cordless snow shovel with an LED light, a 30-degree adjustable chute and a 23-foot throw. The listing says it is compatible with the 18V batteries it names, which are Milwaukee model numbers. The title says tool only, and the listing says it has no battery or charger.
- Clearing width: 12 inches (listing).
- Cutting depth: 6 inches (listing).
- Throw: 23 feet (listing).
- Chute: 30 degrees adjustable, pulled left or right (listing).
- Light: LED light (title).
- Weight: 7.5 pounds (listing).
- Battery and charger: not included, tool only (listing).
Skip if you do not already own a compatible 18V battery, because the listing does not include one. The compatibility line names Milwaukee 18V models, so check your battery against the listed numbers before you buy.
How we chose
We searched Amazon for this keyword on 2026-10-22. The search reported 365 results, many of them bike headlights, leaf blowers and air duster guns, which are a different product type. We kept a cordless or battery snow blower or snow thrower when its listing states a light. Corded snow blowers with dual LED lights were left out, because they run on a cord and not a battery.
We opened six listings on 2026-10-22. One of them, the Greenworks 80V shovel, already had a stored record from 2026-10-13. We read the listing again before checking that record, and we used the new read. The six listings are the ones that met the rule, so the list is shorter than a full roundup.
A seventh listing, a VOLTASK 48V snow blower whose title mentions LED lights, appeared only in related items on one of these pages. We did not open it, so it is not in this post. The six listings here are the ones we opened and checked against the rule.
The order follows the clearing width each listing states, widest first. It is not a ranking of quality, and the light brightness is not stated in any listing, so we do not rank the lights against each other.
How the battery counts add up
Pack energy is volts multiplied by amp-hours, summed over the packs in a kit. Two packs of 24 volts at 4 amp-hours give 192 watt-hours for the Snow Joe. Two packs of 20 volts at 4 amp-hours give 160 watt-hours for the Litheli. Those figures are nominal, and they do not predict how long a light stays on or how long a clearing job lasts. The SENIX title gives 10000mAh without a voltage per pack, and the ZaiZeWan listing gives no amp-hours, so we did not compute energy for either.
Checks before you buy
- Confirm the battery and charger in the box, since four titles name a battery and the Greenworks and TAIRDA titles say none is included.
- Compare clearing width against the driveway width, using the widths in Table 1.
- Check the throw distance if the snow must go over a bank or a fence.
- Read the light description on the page, because no listing states brightness or how long the light stays on.
- Ask the seller for the light’s brightness if it matters to you, since none of the six listings gives one.
Three mistakes are easy to make here. The first is treating the light as proof of brightness, when no listing gives a lumen figure. The second is assuming the kit includes a charger when the text does not name one, as with the Litheli and SENIX. The third is buying the TAIRDA or Greenworks and expecting a battery to be in the box.
What we could not verify
We could not verify any clearing width, throw or depth against real snow. Every figure above is the listing’s own wording or our arithmetic. The clearing rate of 680 pounds per minute on the SENIX, and the 20-to-30-foot throw on the Greenworks, are stated without a snow type or depth.
We could not confirm whether the Snow Joe’s 2W LED headlight is the only light on that model, because its listing does not say whether a second light is fitted. We could not confirm the charger for the SENIX and Litheli listings, the battery amp-hours for the ZaiZeWan, or the battery in the Greenworks kit. We could not confirm whether the TAIRDA’s Milwaukee compatibility works with every battery model the listing names.
What the sources do not say
None of the six listings states the light’s brightness in lumens, how long the light runs on one charge, or whether the light draws from the same battery as the auger. None states the weight of the battery pack by itself, or how much snow a full charge clears.
The listings also do not describe how the auger handles ice, how the chute holds up in wet snow, or which replacement parts are available. The Greenworks troubleshooting note is the only cold-start guidance in the set, and it covers one model.
FAQ
Which battery snow blowers have a light built in?
All six listings in this post state a light. The SENIX has dual LED lights and a light bar, the Litheli has LED lights, the ZaiZeWan has dual LED headlights, the Snow Joe has a 2W LED headlight, and the Greenworks and TAIRDA have an LED light. The light is part of the product in each listing.
How wide a path does a battery snow blower clear?
The widest stated path is 21 inches on the SENIX. The Litheli and ZaiZeWan state 20 inches, the Snow Joe 18 inches, and the Greenworks and TAIRDA 12 inches each. Use the width you need for your driveway, not the widest figure, because a wider path needs more battery.
Does the battery come with the snow blower?
The SENIX title names 10000mAh batteries, the Litheli kit includes two 20V 4.0Ah batteries, the Snow Joe title names two 4Ah batteries with a charger, and the ZaiZeWan sells kits with 2, 4 or 6 batteries. The Greenworks listing says the battery and charger are not included, and the TAIRDA is tool only.
How far does the snow get thrown?
The listings state 33 feet for the SENIX, 25 feet for the ZaiZeWan, 23 feet for the TAIRDA, 20 feet for the Litheli and the Snow Joe, and 20 to 30 feet in the Greenworks summary. Throw distance depends on the snow and the chute setting, so treat these as the listings’ own figures.
Is a light enough for early morning clearing?
The listings say the light helps you see in early mornings and evenings. None gives a brightness figure, so compare the light description on each page. For a related guide on snow clearing with a battery, see our electric snow shovel for a gravel driveway guide.
Are corded snow blowers with LED lights a better choice?
Corded models with dual LED lights exist, but they are a different product type, and they run on a cord rather than a battery. They are not in this comparison, so use the battery models here if you want a cordless machine.
Bottom line
If you need a light and a battery in the same box, buy the kit whose title names both, and check that the clearing width matches your driveway. If the listing names no light brightness and no charger, do not assume either is included.
