Best Cordless Nailer Gun

Best Cordless Nailer Gun

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

The best cordless nailer gun for a given job is usually the one that runs on a battery you already own, or that ships with one, and whose stated nail length covers your work. This guide reads ten nailer listings from Amazon and reports only what each page says: battery status, fastener ranges, stated weights and the claims each seller makes. Nine of the ten are sold without a battery or charger. Several listings also disagree with themselves or with each other on fastener sizes or kit contents, and we show those conflicts rather than pick one figure.

Quick answer

  • If you own a DeWalt 20V MAX battery, six listings say their nailer is compatible with DeWalt 20V batteries: MtiolHig, both SXGSXG listings, KEENTECH, WISLET and ADOTOCAM.
  • If you own no battery, the AXIDA listing is the only one that includes two 2.0Ah 21V lithium batteries and a fast charger.
  • Nail lengths vary most across the set: the top stated brad length is 2-1/8 inch on the DEWALT listing, and several others stop at 1-1/4 inch.
  • None of the sources we opened reports real-world driving performance, so the stated ranges and compatibility lines are the figures to compare.

How the ten listings compare

The table uses only the figures each listing states. A cell says not stated where the listing gives no figure.

A DeWalt 20V entry means the listing says the tool is compatible. No listing shows that a battery fits a tool other than the one it names. For voltage labels, see our guide to lawn and garden battery voltage. For battery choice within one tool line, see our guide to batteries for a DeWalt leaf blower.

How we chose

We searched Amazon for the keyword on 2026-10-22 and read the first results page, which showed 11 product links for cordless brad nailers and combined brad and staple tools. We opened eight of those listings that day. Two more come from stored records for the same product type, checked on 2026-10-14, and we state that date wherever they appear.

The criteria were three. The listing had to describe a cordless or battery-powered nail gun that drives brad nails, including 2-in-1 tools that also drive staples. It had to name a battery platform or say no battery is included. It had to state at least one fastener length or range. Tool-only listings count, and each is labeled tool only. The one result we did not open, a 4V 2-in-1 T50 staple gun and brad nailer from Bielmeier, was left out because the ten we read already covered the brad nailer type.

The keyword names a cordless tool, so no electric alternative was swapped in. We did not rank the ten. The two SXGSXG listings are both included because they state different fastener ranges, which is one of the points this guide reports.

What we could not verify

  • Driving power, depth consistency and jam rates. The listings describe these in general terms, such as the CRAFTSMAN bullets on a powerful motor, but the sources we opened report no independent results.
  • Runtime. CRAFTSMAN says up to 420 nails per charge, and ReliaRoads says more than 500 nails on a 2.0Ah battery. Neither states conditions, and the CRAFTSMAN footnote is not expanded in the captured text.
  • Battery fit. Each compatibility line is the listing’s own statement. We did not confirm that any battery fits any tool.
  • Which SXGSXG figures apply. The two listings give different brad and staple ranges, and the second page’s kit statements do not match each other.
  • Warranty length for most of the set. Only the KEENTECH bullets state a service period in years.

What the sources do not say

  • Item weight for six of the ten: CRAFTSMAN, MtiolHig, both SXGSXG listings, ReliaRoads and AXIDA. The other four give 1.8 kg, 4.8 pounds, 3.01 lb and 6.21 pounds.
  • Staple range for DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN and KEENTECH, which name no staple size.
  • Charge time for the two AXIDA batteries, which the listing does not state.
  • Whether the AXIDA 21V batteries fit any other tool.
  • Electrical safety guidance beyond the listings. The second SXGSXG page tells buyers to read the manual before use, and the sources we opened give no battery handling or charging instructions, so none appear here.

FAQ

Can I use a battery I already own with these nailers?

Only if the listing names your battery platform. Six listings say they are compatible with DeWalt 20V batteries. ReliaRoads names MilWaukee 18V, and the DEWALT and CRAFTSMAN listings use their own platforms. Check the model list on each page before you buy.

Which of these nailers include a battery and charger?

Only the AXIDA listing. Its set includes two 2.0Ah 21V lithium batteries and a fast charger. The CRAFTSMAN battery and charger are sold separately, and the other eight state that no battery is included or describe the tool as bare or tool only.

What nail lengths do these nailers take?

It depends on the listing. The DEWALT listing gives the longest stated brad range, 5/8 inch to 2-1/8 inch. ReliaRoads and MtiolHig top out at 2 inch, and several others stop at 1-1/4 inch. The CRAFTSMAN listing gives no nail length, so match your length against each stated range.

Do these nailers need a compressor or hose?

No, by the listings’ own statements. The DEWALT and CRAFTSMAN listings say their tools need no compressor or hose, and the other listings describe battery-powered or cordless tools.

Why do the two SXGSXG listings give different nail lengths?

Both are listed under the same store name, but each page states its own fastener ranges. The first gives 1/4 inch to 5/8 inch brad nails, and the second gives 3/8 inch to 1-1/4 inch. The second page’s own kit lines also disagree. The listings do not explain the gap, so ask the seller before you buy.

Does a 2-in-1 nailer also drive staples?

Some do, by their own statements. The SXGSXG, WISLET, ADOTOCAM, ReliaRoads and AXIDA listings describe tools that drive crown staples as well as brad nails, and MtiolHig names staples too. KEENTECH, DEWALT and CRAFTSMAN name brad nails only.

Bottom line

Match the battery platform first, then check the nail length against the job, and skip any listing that does not name your platform or cover your length. If you own no battery, the AXIDA listing is the only one here that includes one.
